It`s synonymiously know as Poinciana regia Bojer ex Hook. In Okinawan its is called Hououboku ホウオウボク. The common Western name for it is "Flamboyant." Apart from all this interesting knowledge brought to you directly from 3rd generation florist, this is just one of the most beautiful trees in the world!!! The shrub is a Ixora coccinea, also known as Jungle Geranium, Flame of the Woods, and Jungle Flame. It`s nice, but doesn`t even get close to the Flamboyant.
